Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox had studied for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. Lennox survived off an allowance for students working part-time in order to help supplement her income. Lennox felt that her skills were inferior to those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other options she could pursue. Lennox was initially musician within the band Dragons Playground. The band did not appear on the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. That was also where she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to record her solo debut album Diva. It came out in 1992. The album garnered a lot of praise both from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's most loved blues, jazz, and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. Her first solo album along with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'll Let You Go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a music producer and singer. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox, along with Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to achieve international fame in 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992 through an album titled Diva. The album featured a variety of famous songs like Walking on Broken Glass and Why. Medusa the album she released in 1995 has cover versions of songs like No MoreI I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer is acknowledged with the release of six studio albums on her own as well as a compilation.
